The Mitchell River National Park adjoins Echo Bend Camping Park, a very popular walking, trail running and adventure racing destination.

There is a range of tracks through out the National Park that vary from easy to difficult and length from 20 minutes to over night trips. ​

There is plenty of tracks to mountain bike ride on close by to Echo Bend however 10 minutes out of Bairnsdale there is a popular Mountain Bike Park

RIVER RAFTING/KAYAKING
The Mitchell River has some great options for raft and kayak inputs, day or mutli day trips. Car shifts can be arranged by Echo Bend - please call Geoff on 51576317 for a quote.
The most popular trip on the Mitchell River is Angusvale to Final Fling about 30km. A beautiful scenery trip, with some large rapids, how long it takes is subject to the current river level
